One more, and I’m done spamming myself lol. I just didn’t think the other picture really showed off those rolls in the back well enough.
Drink ‘em in!

After!
She had to improvise from the photo….  …a bit due the excessive length and thickness of my hair (adding a french twist type of addition to the back)
BUT LOOK AT IT OH MY GOD LOOK AT IT! I’m so happy with it I could just die.

We’ve determined to make it a bit less tall we’ll cut a couple of inches off my mane before the date.

Ladies, let me tell you, if you love vintage or rockabilly or whatever, treat yourself and get a truly fancy vintage hairstyle at least one time. It was such a lovely process, and it makes you feel FABULOUS after.

My hairstylist was recommended to me as “someone who loves vintage” but I had never seen any photos of her previous work with vintage hairstyles so I was a bit nervous. So much weight is off my shoulders knowing I have an amazingly capable hairdresser. She’s so great!

PS: What do you ladies think?

Hair Trial is in an hour and fifteen minutes…

…so nervous I could just puke. What if I hate it? Lol…it’s a bit of a risk on my behalf, picking a style I’ve never had anything remotely close to…

We’ll see how it goes! Wish me luck!

You got to have wonderful hairstyle on your wedding day that suits you and your dressing and gives a smooth look. Following are great tips, which will help you a lot.

  1. Decide on a hairstyle before you choose your veil or headpiece.
  2. Don’t choose a large or overly ornate headpiece. You’re the star; not your tiara.
  3. Play with a few styles before finalizing your look.
  4. Don’t have your hair styled too early before the ceremony. It’s a long day.
  5. Visit your hairstylist at least six months before the wedding to set up a hair care regimen.
  6. Don’t choose a style that’s too structured. It will be impossible to maintain.
  7. Touch up your existing hair color two weeks before the wedding.
  8. Don’t change your hair color within two months of the wedding.
  9. Prepare a hair emergency kit for reception touch ups.
  10. Do not use unfamiliar hair products on the big day — you could be allergic to them.
  11. Think about whether your hairstyle will hold up at an outdoor wedding.
  12. Match your hairstyle to your gown in degree of formality.
  13. Consider extensions and hairpieces to add volume for special hairstyles.
  14. Do not go overboard on tendrils. If the curls droop, you’ll be left with messy hair.
  15. Do not use accessories that are too heavy for an up-do.
  16. Plan special hairstyles for the bridal shower and rehearsal dinner.
  17. Get a final trim two weeks before the wedding.
  18. Don’t let anyone talk you into the latest style unless you really love it.
  19. Don’t wash your hair right before styling it. It may be too slippery to handle.
  20. Wear a buttoned-down shirt to your wedding day hair session.
  21. Talk to your hairstylist to set a shampooing and conditioning schedule for the days before the wedding.
  22. Don’t make hairstyle changes within three months of the wedding.
  23. Add a bit of glitter to your hair — just be sure to try it out in advance.
  24. Invest in a good haircut. You’ll need less styling if you have a good foundation.
  25. Do not dye your hair at home.
  26. Decide if you will remove your veil after the ceremony. You’ll need to adjust your hairstyle accordingly.
  27. Have your hairdresser practice with your veil tiara.
  28. Don’t overload your hair with product.

Good advice
