I especially love the scalloped icing on the wedding cake! I think this is how ours will look, as we are doing a small cake and cupcakes!
This weekend I learned that renting cupcake or cake stands from your caterer costs a fortune!
I know prices can vary but for example, one bakery I was looking at rents their cupcake stand for $30! I was pretty shocked.
BUT…then I looked into our reception venue’s in-house caterer, and they rent theirs for $100!
Pardon my language but what the eff is with that? One hundred?
It almost seems cheaper to buy your own…and try to sell it later! So much money-grabbing going on in the vendor world, I tell ya!

The more I think about it, the more I want cupcakes and a little cake on top! But I’ve been flip-flopping more than Romney lately.
