This 1950s wedding dress is heartstoppingly beautiful. A rare treasure of pleated tulle, tambour lace, and sheer tiers it is floating, ethereal and romantic. The scalloped neckline and sweetheart bustline offer crisp knife pleats of fine tulle behind the lace. The bust is crisply darted. The basque waist is exceptionally slimming, creating a true nipped-waist hourglass. It is a fantastic silhouette. The full skirt has an exceptional amount of fullness, and can accommodate the largest wedding crinoline you could buy. The skirt is tier upon tier of gathered tulle, with tabour lace drapping to each side in wide V’s. The gown buttons up the back.
I have many more photos of this gown, including close-ups. Please write to inquire, and I will be happy to provide more.
