sennoectogammat asked: If you don't have time since your wedding is coming soooooo cloooose then don't mind me, but have you happened across any good DIY birdcage/fascinator veil tutorials? I may not be looking hard enough, but all the tutorials I'm finding seem so thin on information. Either the description or photo assistance is lacking. D:
Hi dear, I’m online today, setting up a queue for the next couple of days! So you caught me at a good time
http://offbeatbride.com/2011/04/diy-feather-fascinator this is the only tutorial for a fascinator I remember seeing where I shared the link.
A bit of extra research resulted in this http://offbeatbride.com/2009/12/diy-birdcage-veil and http://kirstenerickson.blogspot.ca/2012/08/diy-birdcage-veil.html You probably are going to have to hack it a bit, if you’re adding a flower or some sort of hat like fascinator aspect to it. The one that I bought off etsy had the veil aspect sandwiched between two circles of felt. The top felt circle has the flower attached, the bottom felt circle having the comb.
I hope this helps! I always try to :)

Very retro, 1950s themed bridal party. My only pet peeve is the umbrellas. Yes they match the polkadotty theme, but they aren’t the same color of red as everything else, and it’s a bit off-putting!
I’m very anal about this stuff, but matching is so necessary. The red shoes are right, but those umbrellas, aaaagh!
One of the smartest things that I think I did was to take my colorful, patterned bridesmaid dress to a paint store and found color chips to match the main colors of it (this in turn became our color scheme). I carried them in my purse from the beginning, and helped me match everything to the colors, so that if I was out shopping and saw something I liked, I could go, ah yes, that matches perfectly. Or, very nice, but it’s not the right color, moving on!

I’m starting to feel nervous…
…I have nothing left to do now, it was at the point that I was inventing new crafts and things to make fancier for the sake of filling time but there’s nothing now. Not a single thing left.
Now that there’s nothing left to do but wait for it all, I feel really anxious all of a sudden.
AGH. Feelings, what are you doing? Feelings. STAHP.
i was hoping i just would skip the nervousness part wahhhh
